How to install Fedora Linux:

Hey guys, I m gonna tell you how to install fedora on your system along with windows and then in other posts I’ll tell you how to in install application on fedora and there links, about setting privileges to users , setting wlan, managing wifi, YUM , RPM and many other important issues with Linux.

      

     Here are some steps, for installation fallow these step:

Step1: Set priority of your bootable information drive (Through BIOS setting).

Step2: Insert CD/DVD or bootable flash drive (You can create it with LinuxLive software, Link for LinuxLive is given in Important links section) of fedora.

Step3:  After finding MBR, It will take few seconds for booting and then fedora will give you two option
     1)      Try Fedora   and   2) Install to hard drive.

As appears in Screenshot .you can try it as live OS but here we are interested in “Install to hard drive”, so click on Install to hard Drive.

Step 4: Select the appropriate keyboard layout and click on Next.

Step 5: Select Storage device, for using it on Laptop select Basic Storage Device. Other option will allow you to install fedora on another place like (SANs)

Step 6: Name your computer and click on Next

Step7: Select your time zone.

                                 

Step 8: Enter a password for root (Super User).

Step 9: Select the type of installation as per your schema (For running with along with windows select “use free space or create custom layout”).

Step 10: Conformation to changes.

Step 11: Copying live image to hard drive.

Step 12: Completion of copying 

Step 13: Completion of Fedora installation.

Step 14: Welcome to fedora click on forward. 

Step 15: Licence Information click on forward.

Step 16: Create User; fill the form click on forward.

Step 17: Set Time and date.

Step 18: Hardware Profile click on finish.

Step 19: Here is your login page.

Step 20: your Desktop………………….Here Fedora is ready to use
